beckley, w.va. – Average gasoline prices in West Virginia have fallen 4.6 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.06 per gallon Monday, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 1,154 stations in West Virginia. Prices in West Virginia are 20.2 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand 52.3 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has decreased 2.7 cents in the last week and stands at $3.519 per gallon.
According to GasBuddy price reports, the cheapest station in West Virginia was priced at $2.68 per gallon Sunday while the most expensive was $4.47 per gallon, a difference of $1.79 per gallon.
The national average price of gasoline has fallen 3.4 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.10 per gallon Monday. The national average is down 1.8 cents per gallon from a month ago and stands 54.6 cents per gallon lower than a year ago, according to GasBuddy data compiled from more than 11 million weekly price reports covering over 150,000 gas stations across the country.
AAA reported Monday that pump prices in Beckley were $2.98 per gallon.
One year ago, prices were averaging $3.654 per gallon in Beckley.

• McDowell — $2.973 per gallon
• Summers — $3.004 per gallon
• Monroe — $3.099 per gallon

• Fayette — $2.975 per gallon
• Wyoming — $2.997 per gallon
